Trimbakeshwar is considered as the most sacred town of India.It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve #Jyotirlingas.


Kumbh Mela & Nagas

Kumbh Mela is a mass Hindu pilgrimage of faith in which Hindus gather to bathe in a sacred river. It is held every third year at one of the four places by rotation: Haridwar, Allahabad (Prayaga), Nashik(Trimbakeshwar) and Ujjain. This kind of #Kumbh Mela called ‘Aardh Kumbh’.
In Trimbakeshwar during Kumbh, #Naga Babas indulge in to huge procession as mark of their present.


Brahmagiri hills

Godavari originates from the #Brahmagiri hills in this town and it is believed that it is the birth place of Lord #Ganesha, known as place of Tri-Sandhya Gayatri.
